F 367 HOUSE REMODEL

Intervention to a house built in the 80s in a already established residential neighborhood. The remodel decompartmentalized several individual rooms of the house, creating a large open kitchen dining and living area. A new bedroom and bathroom were added in the second floor, while a bedroom in the first floor became a family room. Conflict areas of the house were addressed, such as the connection between stairs, bathroom, storage and bedroom. The finishings such as tiles, paint and floors were renewed, which helped unify the different stages of the construction to remove the feeling that is was a patchwork house.
